Black & White House
[ 2:38 PM ]
It always gives me a funny feeling whenever I see something about Singapore being featured in a blog based far, far away, going across the globe to learn about something happening in your own backyard. The same exact feeling when Chow Yun Fatt said, "Singapore!" in the Pirates of the Carribbean movie.
Anyway, this Black and White House was featured in my
favorite interior design blog, which belongs to an American, Mark Seeger, living here. He bought over and reworked (by himself!) an abandoned pre-war colonial house which looked freaking-AMAZING.
Based on the comments, the most popular area seemed to be the outdoor shower.

.
Look at the natural light!
However, unlike most, my favorite has got to be THIS:
How cosy and inviting and and and GOT GRAND PIANO!!!
I would LOVE to lounge in one of those dark blue chairs, sipping hot milk tea, reading a magazine while someone plays (good) music on the piano... oOOooOOOooOOo
Of course, the only problem is that since I'm supposed to be the one sipping tea, and the NPY doesn't play the piano, there's no one to play the piano for me! My next possible option is to let Abbie go learn how to play. It'll probably be just nice, 'cos by the time I get my own home and piano, she should be able to play pretty well already. LOL.

p/s: the owner is 30 this year and SHUAI! Seems like he living in the uber gorgeous house with his dog only. If you are single and available, quickly memorise his face and keep a lookout of him on the streets lor!!!

WTF
[ 8:13 PM ]
I was looking at my StatCounter and saw one of the referring links (clapbangkiss.xanga.com/707188019/item/?nextdate=1494221999&direction=n) actually came from Plasticzilla's blog.
That person who calls herself "Singaporean Fan of Dawn" used my address as hers.
No idea what's her point and don't wanna bother anyway.
Just wanna clarify this "Singaporean Fan of Dawn" is NOT ME.
Super WTF situation. I don't read That's blog. Disgusts me too much.

People who know me will know how crazy I was about oxfords 2 years back.
I'm falling in love with them all over again.
This time, the flat version.
Haven't really saw anything I like, except for patent ones which I thought were kinda 做作.
ButI saw these in Muji yesterday. Looks very comfortable!
I WANT the 2-tones ones!

Bagged this shirt-dress during one of our buying trips!
The sales person said it's vintage. No idea how true is that.
Be it vintage or vintage inspired, I like it as long as it's pretty like this:
Embroidery details on collar and chest pocket:

寶貝妹妹說 :"你拿的時候我在想:‘這件衣服是丑的咯!’,可是你穿起來很好看!”
我聽了,高興又驕傲地回答: "好咯! 這樣就沒有人跟我搶衣服了!”
LOL.

生存之道
[ 4:47 PM ]
During times when I'm feeling down, I have the urge to let myself go and devour 2 pieces of KFC. And then I stop myself from doing it, telling myself that that is just plain stupid because
1) I'm going to be guilty for putting that junk in my body on top of being miserable
2) I'll be fat+ugly+miserable.
So what if I'm not in the best of moods? At least I still get to keep my legs.
This new tee is very chio~
Now I feel better.

Cropped tops made a comeback this summer. Topshop had already out with a few..but it's the jersey kinda material. Haven't really like them because they remind me of sweaty dancers. But this look, I like~ I'm having this imagery of myself looking menacing, opening and shutting a pair of scissors ready to snip snip snip! I'm also thinking of a piece of heavily beaded cropped singlet. Hmmmmm......
